He currently lives and works in Veracruz, Veracruz.
He graduated from the journalism school of the Popular University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP). He works for local media, as well as being photojournalist stringer of the international news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP). He is currently attending the Seminar on Contemporary Photography at the Image Center and Arts Center of San Agustin 2014. Sor Juana and at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM, respectively. In 2013, he was selected to attend the Seminar of Contemporary Photography in the Center of the Image.
His photographic projects revolve around space and people; The experience of confinement, loneliness, boredom, silence and vulnerability. They reflect on the links of the home with the constant presence of memory.
In 2012, with his project “Postcards of encierro” won the first place of the Photography Contest of The Anglo Mexican Foundation, whose prize consisted of attending the summer exchange at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He has participated in various exhibitions, both collective and individual.
His work is part of the book and exhibition “Unveil and detonate. Photography in Mexico ca. 2015 “, curator of Hydra, project of the Center of the Image, Fundación Televisa, editorial RM, CENART. The book was published by the RM publisher in June 2015. The exhibition was inaugurated in Centro Centro Cibeles, Madrid, Spain, at the PHotoEspaña 2015 festival, showing from June 2 to August 31. He later appeared at the National Center for the Arts, Conaculta, Mexico City, from October 24, 2015 to January 22, 2016. His work is part of Fundación Televisa’s collection.
