Lives and works in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.
Graduated from the Seminar of Contemporary Photography of the Center of the Image (Center of the Arts of San Agustín, Oaxaca). He is a graduate and master in Graphic Design. His work has been exhibited in Mexico and abroad, collectively at the Kopeikin Gallery in Los Angeles, and at the Photoville 2012 Festival in Brooklyn, New York. Second place in the portfolio review for GUP Magazine, Special Edition on Mexican Photography (GUP No. 32). Honorable Mention of the IV Photography Contest Luz Diversa (2012). Finalist in the 3rd Annual Competition of Photography ONE LIFE, and of the grant Roberto Villagraz 2012 (Spain). Selected in the Portfolio of Guatemala Photo Gallery in Costa Rica 2012. He recently received the National System of Art Creators, FONCA, and the PECDA scholarship, both in 2014.
In 2015, he published his book “Casita de Turrón” with La Fábrica, Spain, in collaboration with Fundación Televisa, Conaculta, Conaculte, Unicach, Chiapas and Hydra.
His work is part of the book and exhibition “Unveil and detonate. Photography in Mexico ca. 2015 “, curator of Hydra, project of the Center of the Image, Fundación Televisa, editorial RM, CENART. The book was published by the RM publisher in June 2015. The exhibition was inaugurated in Centro Centro Cibeles, Madrid, Spain, at the PHotoEspaña 2015 festival, showing from June 2 to August 31. He later appeared at the National Arts Center, Conaculta, Mexico City, from October 24, 2015 to January 22, 2016. His work is part of the Fundación Televisa collection and several private and public collections.
