He lives and works in Mexico City.
He started in photography as a self-taught photographer. In 2007 he attended the Seminar on Contemporary Photography at the Image Center and at the creative boarding school organized by the Gym and Art Center in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. He has been collaborator of different national and international mass media. In 2012, he won the First Place in the Latin American Contest of Documentary Photography in Medellín, Colombia. In 2014, he presented his work at the International Photography Festival Portfolio and was selected to participate as an exhibitor at Photo 13, International Image Festival, in Tlaxcala; As well as in the Transatlantic program of PHotoEspaña, held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
His work is part of the book and exhibition “Unveil and detonate. Photography in Mexico ca. 2015 “, curator of Hydra, project of the Center of the Image, Fundación Televisa, editorial RM, CENART. The book was published by the RM publisher in June 2015. The exhibition was inaugurated in Centro Centro Cibeles, Madrid, Spain, at the PHotoEspaña 2015 festival, showing from June 2 to August 31. Later it was shown in the National Center of the Arts, Conaculta, Mexico City, from the 24 of October 2015 to the 22 of January 2016.
