(Mexico City, 1966) Studied photography, densitometry and zone system at the Escuela Activa de Fotografía. She has studies in Philosophy and Art History. He specialised in conservation, cataloguing and administration of photographic archives, as well as in cultural management and promotion. In 1994 she joined the Secretariat of Culture at Centro de la Imagen where she consolidated the collection and developed different consultation and control instruments for the management and administration of the documentation centre and the photography collection, among which the Directory of archives, photo libraries and centres specialising in photography (1996 - 2001) stands out. He managed, planned, developed and coordinated some academic activities, such as the V Latin American Photography Colloquium (1995 - 1996) and the colloquia: Image and Education (2003) and From Analogue to Digital (2005), among others. From 2002 to 2006 she was Deputy Director of the same centre.She was Chief Curator (2006 - 2012) of the Museo Universitario del Chopo/UNAM where she presented more than 90 exhibitions, among them: the exhibition of the Festival de Arte Urbano Poliniza that took place at the ENAP/UNAM and the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain; Fauna by Joan Fontcuberta, Kamirobo and Reaperturas: Defecto común/Identidades en disolución, Afecto diverso/Géneros en flujo and Efecto Drácula/Comunidades en transformación, the last three group shows. At this institution, he consolidated the collection and set up a vault to conserve the pieces in the collection. She also integrated important pieces of contemporary photography into the Museum's collection, thanks to the support of Fundación Bancomer. She was Curator of Funds and Collections of the María and Héctor García Foundation. In 2016 she received support from ADABI for the rescue of Héctor García's polychromatic negative material and has participated in the compilation, editing and care of 12 publications on photography and six exhibition catalogues in which she has participated as curator. She was guest editor of the magazine Luna Córnea no. 27, which explores the work of Héctor García. She coordinates the dissemination project of the Manuel Ramos Photographic Archive, which allows consultation of the archive and its commercialisation. She has received support from program de Fomento a Proyectos y Coinversiones Culturales del FONCA/CONACULTA on six occasions to develop projects to rescue archives and is a member of the Seminario Permanente Imagen y Documentación (Permanent Seminar on Image and Documentation), which has generated the Norma Mexicana de Catalogación de Documentos Fotográficos (Mexican Standard for Cataloguing Photographic Documents). He also coordinates the program Observatorio del Patrimonio Fotográfico Fotobservatorio, an interactive platform for the registration and diagnosis of Mexican photographic heritage.In addition to generating marketing, educational, editorial and archive rescue projects from Hydra, he coordinates the projects The chromatic circle in the work of Bob Schalkwijk, which aims to allow consultation of more than 4,000 rolls of slides through a digital catalogue, and the Fotobservatorio's Survey of Mexican Photographic Heritage, which focuses on developing a network for the dissemination of photographic archives to provide access to current information, through a permanently updated directory and to know the state of the country's photographic heritage. Both developed thanks to the support of program de Fomento a Proyectos y Coinversiones Culturales del FONCA [2020].Before dedicating herself to management, she participated as a creator in more than twenty group exhibitions in Mexico, England, Italy, France, Spain and the Czech Republic, and exhibited individually in the exhibition Hasta que la muerte nos separe in the Salón des Aztecas in Mexico City.
