Jorge Alderete

(Patagonia, Argentina, 1971) studied design in visual communication at the Faculty of Fine Arts from the National University of La Plata. The work of it has been published in several specialized anthologies among which do Illustration Now! And Latin American Graphic Design (Taschen), and the work of him has been exposed in different galleries and museums in the world. He has collaborated as an independent animator in MTV, Nickelodeon, Canal Fox and Eleven TV. He is a founder with Juan Moragues, the record label Isotonic Records. He has been an artistic designer of more than 150 albums, such as: the fabulous Cadillacs, Andrés Calamaro and Daniel Melero (Argentina); Lost Acapulco, Twin Tones (Mexico) and the StraitiaCackets (United States). In 2008 he publishes the book of him I am no one. A year after this symbolic celebration he founded next to Clarisa Moura the Vertigo Gallery. He is part of the musical group rooster black since 2010 as the female and illustrator live during shows. The books Sonorama and Sonorama Dos (Ed. The Cerillos Box) collect the work of it around music published in 2012 and 2018 respectively. At the end of 2014 he publishes his first Graphic Novel Black is Beltza. It has editions in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Japan. Since 2015 he is a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique International) and starts a tour with the fabulous Cadillacs drawing live. Beneficiary of the National System of Creators, the National Fund for Culture and Arts, 2018.
