Julio Barrita

(Oaxaca, 1989) studied the Bachelor of Communication Science and Photography in the CFMAB, House of San Agustín, Etla and the center of the image. He was a festival of the 2012 Festival 2012, initiative of the State Council for Culture and Arts of Hidalgo, scholarship of the Stimulus Program for Artistic Creation and Development in Oaxaca (sin). In the same year he studied the seminar of contemporary photography as a scholar, by the center of the San Agustín Arts in Oaxaca and the Visual Arts Diploma. He awarded the first place at the First Biennial Héctor García, 2013, in the built Photography category. He creditor the scholarship Roberto Villagraz by the Efti in Spain with the project "outside there is nothing". Selected in the 10th Paraty Em Focus, Photograph festival in Brazil, and finalist at the 2nd contest of contemporary photography of Mexico, 2013. In 2014 it is selected to participate in the 6th National Biennial Looks of Visual Arts in Tijuana. He co-founded, in the same year, "411 photographic space" a space dedicated to the diffusion and photographic education in the state of Oaxaca, where he currently lives and works. The work of him is part of the book and exposure Rate and detonate. Photography in Mexico ca. 2015., Hydra Curator, Project of the Center of the Image, Set to Fundación Televisa, Editorial RM and El Cenart. The exhibition was inaugurated in Centro Cibeles, Madrid, Spain, at the Festival PhotoEspaña 2015, showing from June 2 to August 31. Subsequently, it was shown at the National Center for Arts, Conaculta, Mexico City, from October 24, 2015 to January 22, 2016.
