Koral Carballo

Graduated from the School of Journalism of the Popular University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP). In 2012, with the project "postcards of the confinement" she won the first place of the photography contest of The Anglo Mexican Foundation, whose award was to attend the Summer Exchange at the School of Visual Arts, in New York. She has participated in various exhibitions, both collective and individual, a year later she was selected to take the contemporary photography seminar in the center of the image. She has worked for local media, as well as a photojournalist Stringer of the International News Agency Agence France-Press (AFP). She on the other hand she cursa the contemporary photography seminar from the center of the image and arts center of San Agustín 2014. The work of her is part of the book and exhibition Rate and detonate. Photography in Mexico ca. 2015., Hydra Curator, Project of the Center of the Image, Fundación Televisa, RM Editorial and El Cenart. The exhibition was inaugurated in Centroom Cibeles, Madrid, Spain, at the festival photoespain 2015, showing from June 2 to August 31. Subsequently, it was shown at the National Center of Arts, Conaculta, Mexico City, from October 24, 2015 to January 22, 2016. The work of it is part of the Televisa Foundation collection.
