Roberto Tondopó

Bachelor and Master in Graphic Design, as well as graduate of the contemporary photography seminar at the center of the image based in the San Agustín Arts Center, Oaxaca. Winner of the Tierney scholarship by the "Tierney Fellowship Foundation" of New York (2011). Scholarship of Young Creators (FONCA) in two issues, second place in the review of portfolios for GUP Magazine in the Special Edition on Mexican Photography (GUP No. 32). Honorable Mention of the "IV Diverse Light Photography Contest" 2012. Finalist at the "3rd Annual Competition of ONE LIFE", and the scholarship Roberto Villagraz 2012. Selected in the viewing of Portfolios Trasatlántica PhotoEpchaña in Costa Rica 2012. Received the scholarship of the National System of Art Creators (Fonca), and of the sin, both in 2014. His work has been exhibited both in Mexico and abroad, collectively at the Kopeikin gallery in Los Angeles, and at the 2012 Festival Photoville 2012 Brooklyn, in New York (EU). In 2015 he publishes his photobook Nougat house., in collaboration with Fundación Televisa, Conaculta, Conaculte, Unicach, Chiapas and Hydra. Since 2007 he is a professor of photography in Gymnasium of Art Chiapas where he lives and works today. The work of him is also part of the book and exposure Rate and detonate. Photography in Mexico ca. 2015., Hydra Curator, Project of the Center of the Image, Fundación Televisa, Editorial RM, Cenart. The exhibition was inaugurated in Centroom Cibeles, Madrid, Spain, at the festival photoespain 2015, showing from June 2 to August 31. Subsequently, it was shown at the National Center for Arts, Conaculta, Mexico City, from October 24, 2015 to January 22, 2016. His work of him is part of the Televisa Foundation collection and several private and public collections. It is currently part of the national system of art creators (FONCA) in the photo category.
