(MEXICO) BA in Restoration of Movable Goods (ENCRyM-INAH, Mexico); MA in Archaeological Heritage Management (University of York, UK) and PhD in Archaeology, specializing in Cultural Heritage and Museums (University College London, UK). Since 1993 she has worked as a restorer, researcher, teacher and director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (Mexico). In 2000 she was awarded the International Young Americanist Award of the International Congress of Americanists. . She is recognized as a professor with a desirable profile (PROMEP-SEP) and is part of the National System of Researchers (CONACYT): SNI 1. She is the founding editor of Intervención, International Journal of Conservation, Restoration and Museology, an academic, refereed and indexed biannual publication of the ENCRyM-INAH. She has worked as a private consultant for conservation and management of world heritage sites in Central and South America. He is currently a full-time undergraduate and graduate research professor at ENCRyM-INAH. She has published extensively on issues of history, theory, management, training in the heritage sector.
