In addition to exhibitions, books and prints are the perfect solution for photography. We are convinced that the photobook is the medium that photographers should get used to using.


In this workshop we have a goal with a double intention:

1. Raise awareness of the photobook and the specificity of its market.

2. Help photographers to direct their own editorial project. 

It is an independent publishing house dedicated to the design and printing of unique art books and a gallery that presents exhibitions on new publishing practices.

Founded in 2011 by Rémi Faucheux and Matthieu Charon, RVB Books has published 17 books in limited editions ranging from 250 to 750 copies.

More recently they have presented young French artists working with the medium of photography, such as Stéphanie Solinas and Marina Gadonneix & Marcelline Delbecq. In addition, they have published Ruth van Beek from Amsterdam and Oskar Monzon who won the First PhotoBook Award at Paris Photo 2013 with his photobook KARMA, the PhotoEspana 2015 Photobook Award, and the Paris Photo Aperture Foundation Photobook 2015 with "Illustrated People" by Thomas Mailaender.

Although the books are different in theme and concept, they all have one thing in common: the artists see their artistic work best expressed in the medium of the photobook.

RVB also has a bookstore and gallery in the Belleville district, a contemporary art gallery area in Paris.
