PRODUCTION PROGRAMMES

Hydra collaborates with other spaces, institutions and programmes in Mexico and abroad, such as the organisation of fairs, workshops, conferences and exchanges. In this way, our activities are enriched with new experiences, diverse audiences, expanding networks and collaboration strategies.

ONLINE COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL VENUES

From 2020 Hydra initiates a wide network of collaborations with other national and international spaces, opening up dialogue and collaboration with new audiences. Our new online programmes include collaboration with festivals, spaces, institutions, museums, and different initiatives such as: GLOBAL PHOTOGRAPHIES NETWORK, UK; FOTOBSERVATORY; MEMÓRICA, FOTO RIO, Brazil, among others.

COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER INSTITUTIONS IN MEXICO AND ABROAD

Hydra has collaborated with other spaces in the organisation of activities such as colloquia, photobook fairs, educational programmes and exhibitions, among others.

We have collaborated with venues such as the CUATRO CAMINOS PHOTOMUSEUM in the realization of the Photobook Fair and first prize of Latin American Photobook 2016, meetings in ITESO, Guadalajara, SONY Latin America, among others.

Hydra frequently presents, in collaboration with other spaces, the publications of our own publishing house INFRAMUNDO, HYDRA, co-publications with other publishers such as RM, La Fábrica, among others.

We also participated in the presentation of other publishers' publications as part of the panel of presenters.

We have collaborated with spaces such as MUAC, UNAM, Centro de la Imagen, ITESO, Guadalajara, Museo Archivo de la Fotografía MAF, 2018; FIL, Feria Internacional del Libro in Mexico City; Centro Cultural de España en México, 2018; Museo de la Ciudad de México, La Fábrica, Spain; Les Rencontres d'la Photographie, Arles 2018; Casa de México en Francia; Festival; UNSEEN festival, Amsterdam, The Netherlands 2018; Grand Palais, PARIS PHOTO 2018, Encuentro en línea MIRADAS AL FOTOLIBRO, San Luis Potosí, 2020, among others.

CONFERENCES IN OTHER VENUES IN MEXICO 

Hydra participates as a guest in the organisation of conferences in other spaces, both by members of our platform and by national and international professors who participate in our space.

We have collaborated regularly in various museums, cultural centres and private spaces such as Canon Academy, SONY Latinoamerica, among others.

CONFERENCES AND PARTICIPATION IN OTHER INTERNATIONAL EVENTS

Hydra regularly participates in festivals, meetings, colloquia, workshops and other activities in different international venues.

We have collaborated in events such as the PHOTOBOOK RESET event, C/O Berlin 2018; the COLOQUIO LATINOAMERICANO DE FOTOGRAFÍA, Sao Paulo, Brazil 2016, ENCMYK: encuentro sobre circulación de fotolibros, Centro de Fotografía de Montevideo, 2016, Festival Internacional de Fotografía de Valparaíso, Chile, 2016; Ana Casas Broda conference at RTEXARTE, Gallery in Buenos Aires, Argentina 2016; FOAMXHYDRA exhibition and conference at FOAM, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 2016, among others.

WORKSHOPS AND COLLABORATION IN EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS IN OTHER INTERNATIONAL SPACES

Hydra members frequently participate in workshops in other institutions and international spaces, including: International Photography Festival of Valparaíso, Chile, 2016; LATIN AMERICAN COLLOQUIUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY, Sao Paulo, Brazil 2016, EFTI, Madrid 2018, Workshop in the Specialty of Photography at the National University of Colombia 2019 and 2020, among others.

In 2020 we started a collaboration with GLOBAL PHOTOGRAPHIES NETWORK, an initiative of several universities in the UK with venues in other parts of the world.
