MAKING PHOTOBOOKS...
JUAN VALBUENA
6 to 9 September 2017
A course on self-publishing, page layout, production and marketing of photography books designed for all those who want to explore the possibilities of the book as an optimal support for the dissemination of their photographic project.
The aim of the course is to help to achieve the best book project for each of the participants, optimising each project according to the moment in which each proposal is.
To this end, during the workshop, the natural process of creating a photobook will be developed and key decisions will be taken, from the selection and editing of the images to the possible publication, distribution and sale of the product, paying special attention to the intermediate phase of seeking coherence between the project and the object.
