A través de una narrativa compuesta de fotografías, objetos y notas, Japón y su cultura se le revelan al espectador en un profundo recorrido sobre la relación de los creadores con el país asiático. arigatos es un proyecto colectivo e independiente de arte y publicaciones DIY, que nace tras una necesidad por expresar y compartir diversas prácticas artísticas e ideas políticas. Hacemos fanzines, prints, stickers y más, en donde mostramos nuestras fotografías, ilustraciones, diseño gráfico y textos. Con ello buscamos explorar nuevos espacios y relaciones, y proponer narrativas más horizontales y accesibles a través de una mezcla de humor y seriedad, con la esperanza de motivar a otras voces no representadas a contar sus propias historias.

arigatos is an independent, DIY publishing & art collective born out of a necessity for a medium to express and share artistic practices and political views. Photography, illustration, graphic design, and literature get together in the form of zines, prints, stickers, and more, to propose horizontal and accessible narratives, all with a blend of humor, anger and cuteness, in hopes to encourage underrepresented voices to tell their stories too.

This zine is a visual diary of a couple's first trip together abroad. Through a narrative composed of pictures, objects and notes, Japan and its culture unfold to the viewer, dwelling deep into the relationship of the creators and the Asian country by the turn of each page.
