The original cultures of the territory now called Mexico, before the arrival of European Christianity, forged a knowledge and philosophy that has survived to this day through different indigenous communities.

Western thought considers these peoples and their traditions as exotic, attributing "magical powers" to their practices, which is an abusive and superficial relationship, while subjecting them to systemic material poverty.

There are concrete proposals of practices that emanate from this philosophy and that are anchored in the relationship with nature and far from magical thinking. As it is a system of practices, it is not necessary to have faith or believe in God to try them out and obtain concrete results.

Although the system of practices on which my work is based has its roots in what we can generically call Toltec philosophy, which is largely preserved in many of the practices of the Wirrarika and other groups of Nahuatl descent, its modern expression adapted to human development is contained in the works and workshops of the Mexican writer and researcher Victor Sanchez, who has developed and shared these practices through an organisation and methodologies known as "The Art of Living with Purpose" and particularly in his books.

She attended the Seminario de Fotografía Contemporánea 2010 at Centro de la Imagen and several workshops there, as well as the I Encuentro Nacional de Investigación Fotográfica and the Instituto Internacional de Periodismo José Martí in Cuba. His work has been exhibited collectively in Mexico, the United States, Colombia and Spain.
