To access and dialogue with the mystery that dwells within and outside of us, the key is OFFERING. 

This book was born out of a system of practices that has its origins in the native peoples of Mexico, and which have been systematised by "The Art of Living on Purpose". These practices have at the core of their worldview the relationship with the powers of nature and their aim is to navigate the unknown and the possibilities unexplored by human beings, who are limited by their personal history. 

 It is the practices of recapitulation, the burial of the warrior, confession and offering on which "OFRENDA" is built, an offering is a NIERIKA of the awakening of memory, to close and open cycles under the shelter of fire and the powers of nature. Photographer Luis Enrique Aguilar integrates photography into his personal practice to make his own offering, while inviting the viewer to ask questions and explore the idea of making his own practices in search of his other self.
