ABOUT THIS BOOK
Claudia Hans develops this book from the formal and conceptual intervention of the book "Songs for my Grandmother" written in 1945, the year in which the Second World War ended. This book consists of a series of illustrations and verses that narrate the childhood and past of the author's grandmother Agnes Louise Dean. Silent Songs is Claudia's intervention of these texts and illustrations, transforming the book into a contemporary piece where she simultaneously narrates part of her own grandmother's life, what happened during the Holocaust and the current issues that tell the story of thousands of people.
