This course will analyse and study the relevance and significance of the family album in the construction of individual and collective identities; as well as different theoretical works and projects by contemporary artists on the family album that highlight the interest of artists in the family album, making it almost a genre of its own in contemporary art and photography in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
