HYDRA PUBLIISHING is a collective project created in Mexico from the crossing of experiences to produce photobooks, experimenting with different narrative tools, hybrid production and collaborative practices. 

 This project began in 2018 with the project INFRAMUNDO, that presented of 22 photobooks by Latin American photographers as a result of HYDRA's program INCUBADORA DE FOTOLIBROS 2016 and 2017, which provides authors with the tools to develop their books with the support of international editors, designers and curators. 

INFRAMUNDO is a HYDRA project created by Ana Casas Broda and Ramón Pez from 2018 till 2020. HYDRA continues publishing photobooks as the result of the program INCUBADORA DE FOTOLIBROS 2019, and is now in its fourth edition 2023, for the fist time in two simultaneous versions: live at HYDRA and online with participants from all over the world.

 We work with authors so that they can develop and publish their photobooks through different production processes: from handmade special editions, offset printed books, as well as hybrid processes that mix industrial and manual production. We offer you limited print runs, handmade special editions, offset printed photobooks, as well as participation in the pre-sale of the offset print run of new titles.
